Traveling to Seoul and Transportation to Woosuk
The arrival airport in Seoul, Korea should be Incheon international airport (ICN). The airport is connected to Woosuk University in Wanju directly with ground transportation (express bus) and is within a 280km range from the venue, taking about three and half an hour.
You can catch the airport limousine bus for Jeonju/Iksan city at the arrival floor bus station #9C (31,000 KRW).
You must get off the bus at Jeonju Core hotel bus terminal. After that, there are two kinds of ways to reach Woosuk University as follows
By bus
- It will take 2 to 3 minutes from Jeonju Core hotel to the bus stop, which is located on the other side of Jung-ang Catholic Church (pronounced as Jung-ang Seong Dang). You have to take the bus(No.380, 381, 383, 385) for Woosuk University, which is the last destination. The bus fare is 1,300 KRW. Buses run at 5 to 10 minutes intervals from 6AM till 10PM.
By taxi
- The fare from Jeonju Core hotel bus terminal to Woosuk University is about 20,000 KRW. Most taxi drivers know the direction to Woosuk University (pronounced as 'Woosuk Dae-hak-kyo').
If you want to go to Seoul before you come to Woosuk, you can catch the bus for Seoul at the arrival floor bus station #1~14 (8,000 ~ 13,000 won). And you can catch the bus to the Sam-rye/Woosuk University at the Nam-bu bus terminal located in Seoul, where you can reach by subway line 3. You can see the direct bus from Nam-bu bus terminal to the bus station of Woosuk University.Or If you arrive at Jeonju express bus terminal, you have to take a walk 10 to 15 minutes from the terminal to the bus stop(between Jeonbuk Ilbo and Namdo gas station) leading to Woosuk University. The buses are No.380, 381, 383, 385.
By train
- Republic of Korea is connected to the main cities by train or bus. There are 2 main train stations in Seoul: Seoul and Yongsan. You can catch the KTX (express train) at Yongsan station, not Seoul station, and you need to get off at Iksan station (34,400 KRW, 1 h 50 m). And then you can catch the taxi in Iksan to the Woosuk University at the taxi stand.

- You can buy limousine bus ticket to Jeonju Limousine Bus Terminal at the following busticketing booth, and then get on the bus at 9c.
The limousine bus will stop rest area on express way heading for Iksan or Jeonju for 15-minute break time, which is first time in two hours.
- The bus ticketing booth: Arrival(first floor) → Exit 9 → 9C (outside of Incheon airport)
- Incheon airport is 20 minutes’ driving away from Kimpo airport, which is the next bust stop for the customers heading for Jeonju or Iksan from Kimpo airport.
Woosuk University will pick you up at Jeonju Limousine Bus Terminal.
