The Center for Global Relations, under the slogan of Woosuk University "A University Produces Global Leaders," actively operates various international exchange programs such as academic exchange, students and faculty exchange, dual degrees, foreign culture experience, language training abroad, overseas internship program and a Korean culture experience by constructing close cooperative relationships with 185 global partner universities and institutions in 29 countries. The main duties of the Center for Global Relations are as follows:
- Planning and promoting international exchange programs
- Concluding exchange agreements with foreign universities
- Attracting, supporting and managing international students, professors and researchers
- Managing credit exchanges and selecting, sending and managing dual degree students
- Selecting, sending and managing students for short term culture exchanges
- Hosting necessary ceremonies when foreign personages visit
- Supporting faculty & student travel and training abroad
- Supporting and developing education programs for international students and performing educational duties
The Center for Global Relations, as the exclusive division to support the successful study periods for international students around the world, makes an effort to make them feel comfortable during their studies in Korea through the duties listed below:
- Managing international students
- Sending Korean language teachers to global partner universities in exchange relationships
- Operating the Korean Language Institute
- Guiding class registration for newly entered and/or transferred international students
- Obtaining insurance for international students
- Picking up students and visitors from the airports or harbors.
